About Sara
Sara McCormick is a New England-based actress, dancer, singer, dramaturg, and teaching artist. She graduated from Salve Regina University in 2023 with degrees in Theatre Arts and Dance.
Since graduating from college, Sara has immersed herself in the world of performing arts with curiosity for varying fields and an eagerness to learn more. She looks for every opportunity to perform and puts her whole self into every piece she gets to collaborate on. Sara embraces the magic and history of the world, bringing a mystically childlike wonder to her life and art.
Sara is a consistent performer in the New England area and beyond. Recent roles include Mary Magdalene in The Bible Women’s Project at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing with Idle Hands Theatre Collective. On the weekends, you will most likely find her acting as a party princess for children's birthdays, dancing in events such as a wedding in a Newport mansion, or acting in a play in the Providence area.
Sara is a performer who loves to share her passion for the arts with the upcoming generations, and loves to work with children. Which is why, during the week, she can be found working with a children's theatre company, Rhode to Broadway, or teaching dance at varying dance studios.
